End-to-End Demo Flow

  1. Bootstrap demo — Click the button above or call POST /admin/demo/seed. Seeds 8 sources, 3 watchlists, and 1 dossier scaffold. Idempotent.
  2. Ingest demo sources — Call POST /admin/ingest for each demo source ID, or use POST /admin/ingest/all. Fetches current versions and creates diffs.
  3. Detect alerts — Check Alerts for watchlist-triggered notifications. Review and acknowledge alerts per theme watchlist.
  4. Review claims & relations — Visit Claims Review and Relations Review. Accept relevant items.
  5. Assemble dossier — Visit Dossiers and open the demo dossier demo-dossier-china-digital-governance. Add accepted claims and relations.
  6. Export dossier — Use the dossier export panel to generate Markdown, DOCX, or PDF output.

Continuous Versioned Source Monitoring

vs alert-only
Every source fetch is hashed, versioned, and diff-compared. Historical change inspection at any point — not just threshold-triggered notifications.
source_versioning · diff_engine · /v1/diff/:source_id

Source-Version-Level Citations

vs alert-only
Claims, relations, and dossier sections bind to specific source versions and evidence spans. Citations survive document updates because they point to the exact version active at extraction time.
evidence_spans · source_version_id on all claims/relations

Review-Aware Structured Extraction

vs structure-only
Extracted claims and relations require explicit accept/reject review before any downstream use. Review status, reviewer key, and timestamp are first-class fields.
claims_review · relations_review · review_status · reviewed_at

Accepted-Only Dossier Assembly

vs structure-only
Dossiers enforce accepted_only policy — only reviewer-approved items reach the exported output. Readiness status surfaced at every export step via the publish fast-path.
DossierAssemblyPolicy · POST /v1/dossiers/:id/publish · X-Xin-Dossier-Readiness

Multilingual Export & Publish-Safe Output

vs generic tools
Dossiers export to Markdown, DOCX, and PDF with CJK-capable font handling. Entity names carry native/Japanese/English/aliases. Source content preserved in original language.
multilingual_entity_model · cjk_pdf_export · RFC6266 Content-Disposition

Layered China-Focused Source Registry

vs generic tools
6-tier source hierarchy: normative documents → party/state signals → legislative → ministry/regulatory → military → auxiliary. Each source has trust level, expected language, and parser strategy.
